Content Marketing Specialist

*This is a Remote position, but must reside in New England due to periodic or occasional travel to Acelleron HQ in North Andover, MA.

We are looking for a full time Content Marketing Specialist to manage our content efforts across a wide range of internal, digital, and traditional media outlets. In this role, you will write and publish various types of engaging content pieces for our company’s email marketing campaigns, blog, newsletter, print collateral, educational materials, and social media sites, as well as drive our overall content strategy and affiliate program. The ideal candidate is passionate and excited about content creation!

Responsibilities:

  • Create and/or edit marketing emails, blog posts, collateral, press releases, and other related marketing materials
  • Research and identify content topics
  • Create, schedule, and effectively manage content and media calendars with the team
  • Work with Marketing Manager to create email, blog, and newsletter templates
  • Optimize existing content for SEO best practices and write new pieces with the same goal
  • Create and schedule social media posts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Ensure consistent messaging with our audience across all communication mediums
  • In collaboration with marketing team, identify new channel opportunities to connect with and support our customers
  • Help develop and execute lead generation strategies including lead magnets, events/webinars, training videos, landing pages, email marketing, etc.
  • Engage with key bloggers, influencers, social media ambassadors, partners, and internal stakeholders to develop content
  • Assist with creating performance metrics and reporting and analysis of content efforts to make data driven optimizations
  • Provide administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role
  • Superior oral and written communications skills with a true passion for content creation
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data from various sources to drive future decisions and optimizations
  • Must be able to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience in commonly used programs and marketing tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, WordPress, HubSpot, Google Analytics, MailChimp, Klaviyo, Asana, social media platforms, etc.)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and website traffic analytics
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop a plus
  • Knowledge of breast pumps and/or breastfeeding a plus

You are on the front-line working as part of our Customer Support Team. You will make your mark in our most critical department that provides superior service and support to our customers.

We will trust you to:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to our customers and manage 50-100 inbound/outbound phone calls daily
  • Manage daily call reports
  • Transfer customer calls to appropriate business areas
  • Identify, research, and resolve customer issues using company software
  • Occasionally work a half day on the weekend
  • Be a team player and work in a team environment

You need to have:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced, customer-focused, environment
  • Strong telephone etiquette and a professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and problem solving skills
  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • Knowledge of breast pumps and/or breastfeeding a plus

Salary range is $36,000-40,000/yr based on experience.

*Full remote position with a week maximum of in-office training. Travel to company headquarters will be required from time to time for company town halls, functions, etc.
