Holly Mielcarz, RN, IBCLC

Director of Education, Mom and Baby Division

Holly is currently a director of education for Acelleron’s mom and baby division. She is a Registered Nurse and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. In her current role, Holly is responsible for creating and maintaining professional relationships with hospitals and other healthcare organizations throughout northern New England and works with her colleagues throughout this region in helping women meet their breastfeeding goals through support, advocacy, and education on how to prepare for, initiate, and maintain lactation. Holly has also worked with various state Medicaid plans and insurance companies to cover breastfeeding equipment and supplies necessary to extend breastfeeding duration rates.

As a board member on the NH Breastfeeding Task Force where she also sits on the Breastfeeding and Working subcommittee, Holly is extremely passionate about educating and supporting breastfeeding women in the workplace. Being a nurse, and a mother of three grown children, Holly understands and remembers how stressful and challenging it can be to harmonize the role of a working mother, but believes that with education, a support system, and great resources, it is possible to successfully combine motherhood with working.

Prior to joining the Acelleron team in 2014, Holly worked as a maternal child clinical nurse, Lactation Consultant, and educator at Concord Hospital in NH.
